Originated in Fremantle, Australia opening in 2000, Little Creatures is a Cult  recognised brand now spanning the globe, the brewery have recently opened a new branch at Regents Canal, Kings Cross,London.  

As part of the new expansion along Regents Canal, Little Creatures is a brewery boasting some of the best imported beers, along with their own craft beers and ales made from scratch on site. They also host local beers from the surrounding area enabling a vast choice to suit any taste preference,  on offer is a full daytime food  menu meaning anyone can enjoy the Little Creatures experience.   

 Middlesex Sound & Lighting were tasked with designing an individually controllable, flexible multi-zonal sound system, delivering high quality background audio throughout the venue. The Industrial architecture of the venue with its  high ceiling spaces, led to a bespoke specification consisting of both wall-mounted  and steel rope suspended Martin Audio speakers.  

Using the tried and tested wide audio dispersion CDD speaker range from Martin Audio, CDD10 boxes were discretely flown throughout the main trade area offering total audio coverage for the space for the mid-hi sound element. The low frequency range of the CDD10’s is bolstered with compact but punchy twin 12” Martin Audio CSX212 subwoofers, to complete the late-night atmosphere.    

Ultra compact ,stylish CDD6 speakers have been used in the walkway and WC areas, ensuring that the atmosphere is venue wide no matter where the customers are. These speakers are all powered using the reliable yet understated Yamaha PX amplifiers – specifically the PX8 and PX10 variants.   

The audio system is digitally processed and controlled by a BSS BLU-100 processor, MSL in–house custom BSS programming enables the best quality audio experience even in the architectural  challenging environment. Local wall mounted BSS volume controls give staff the ability to instantly change audio sources for each designated audio zone, along with audio level presets based on the time and day and trade requirement.
